Mark and I went to Petit Le Mans in Atlanta again this past week. We camped at the same spot as last year. The weather was great this year, barring one full day & night of light scattered rain.

Below is a pic of our campsite. If you remember our setup from last year, we’ve done a few upgrades (second canopy, table, storage shelves, etc).

I’m still fascinated by how awesome the race cars look. And they sound just as good. Here is a sampling of pics. More can be found in the gallery at this link.

It was a fun trip. We cooked lots of good food, slept well considering the noise, and saw some good races. We also hung out with some people we met there last year. Easily, the worst part though was the 15-16 hour drive each way. All said, we’ll most likely go back next year. Hopefully we’ll be able to go to the Houston race in April too.
