Phew, it’s good to be back in Austin in my own house. Of course, I miss Crystal and family; it’s just nice being back in your own surroundings. Anyway, I got back Friday night. I only went to pick up my mail and watch football on Saturday, since the weather was rainy and cold. Today was much nicer, so I went up to check out the repair job on the roof (I had some shingles blow off when I was in NC), did some yardwork (cut back plants for the winter and raked a few leaves), and did a little car work (both the mr2 and truck’s batteries were dead).

Next weekend I’m going to seal up any loose shingles on the roof. I did some sampling while I was up there today, and about every 10th shingle flap is loose.
